Hello and welcome to Anime Corps!

I’m Nick, the author & head administrator of this fine blog, and I’ll be writing out my thoughts and opinions about anime I’m currently watching. My reviews tend to be a mix of summery and actual commentary, although I seemingly change my style from review to review. My first reviews are heavy into to summery while my latest reviews are more commentary, which is the style I’m trying to write more of.

I started this blog on April 1, 2014 (no joke) and within 4 months had got over 100 posts! Wow lots of writing I know, but as I’m already a writer I enjoyed it a lot. Reviewing anime is something I’ve come to like very much and I feel I’ve gotten better at understanding each episode I watch too now that I’m looking at it a different way. I try to keep my reviews on a set schedule but things do come up at times that make posting on set days impossible at times; but for the most part you can expect to see reviews up on the same day the episode airs or a day later.

As for favorites and such, my favorite studios are (in this order too): Kyoto Animation, P.A. Works, and A-1 Pictures. As for my favorite anime, well I’ll just name a few that come to mind: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Oreimo, Love Live, Hyouka, Hibike! Euphonium, Saekano, Selector Infected WIXOSS, the Monogatari series and many more. I’m pretty much open to most genres and I’m always looking for something new and exciting to watch. As for favorite voice actresses, my three top favorites right now are: Risa Taneda, Saori Hayami and Ai Kayano.

So yeah that’s kinda all I can think of to say, so I’ll end it here. I hope you like the reviews, be sure to leave a Like or comment, share them on Facebook and Twitter and I hope you have a good time here!

Good day reader. Hailing from the UK my name is Andrew M.L. West also known as Ydna, I am very much new to this reviewing anime business but as I was kindly offed the chance to have a go writing for Anime Corps I thought why not? Typically in this sort of thing I would talk about my favourite anime but I don’t really like to play favourites so instead I’ll just mention a few that I have particularly enjoyed. Love Live! and K-On! are two which I very much deem worth mentioning and going by my avatar on practically everything the Toaru series isn’t getting away without a mention. As for other stuff I consider noteworthy I guess I would say; the Monogatari series, Strike Witches, the Fate series and Yuyushiki. As for my favourite animation studios, that is much easier for me to say; Shaft, Kyoto Animation and inexplicably Silver Link as of late. Well I do want to keep my bio at least somewhat short so I’ll wrap up here, if you want to know more about me then hopefully reading my upcoming reviews will add some tone to your image of me. Startlingly easy to please or drop dead cynic? I’ll leave that up to you to decide

Hey everyone, my name’s Marshy!  I’m a novice reviewer with not a lot of experience, but I hope to learn and grow while I’m working with this blog.  I typically like all genres of anime, but specifically love mecha and romance.  A short list of my favorites would include: Code Geass, Ghost Hunt, Spice and Wolf, The Idolm@ster, and Cowboy Bebop.  I’m a big fan of idols too, my favorite from any series being Miki Hoshii from Im@s.  Anyway, it’s time to wrap this up and get back to watching anime!

Hey everyone, my name is Deven Luca. I’m an friend of Nick since he started his blog and now we’re working together. I’m a co-writer here at Anime Corps. I’ve been on the team for a year and loving it a lot.

Let’s see..I’m a lover of all type of anime. I’m currently watching a lot of Fate series stuff and play few visual novels. Some of my favorite anime are Sword Art Online, Sekirei, Sekirei: Pure Engagement, and big ones are Love Live! School Idol Project and Date A Live.

I’m starting to get into Computer Gaming and it looks really fun. I plan on playing a lot of Hyperdimension Neptunia.

My first anime had to be Pokemon or something that came out around the 90s. I’m a big lover of Miyazaki movies and my favorites have to be Kiki’s Delivery Service (I had a crush on her as a kid) and Spirited Away.

So that’s enough for me. I’m going to make sure that the reviews speak for themselves. Later Days!

Hello, everyone! I’m Tsuyuki. I’m a self-published author from the United States, and I do editorials and full series reviews for this blog. On Fridays I take a look at some sort of opinion loosely related to anime and try to present it in an open way. Additionally, whenever I find a show that sparks my interest enough to explain why I loved (or hated) it, I write more critical anime reviews and try to pick apart entire an entire series. I hope you enjoy what I write here!

Thanks for reading and enjoy the blog!
